Nuuk International Snow Festival
Nuuk hosts the annual Snow Sculpture Festival where both the novice and the experienced snow sculptors from all over the world, participate in sculpting. The festival is a true attraction, involving the whole city either as bystanders or active participants.  Next festival will be held  Marts 2005.  Further information at www.snow.gl

Katuaq - The Cultural Centre
Visitors to Nuuk can experience events and performances of traditional music and dance, and see numerous examples of both ancient and modern Native art in Katuaq, which serves as the cultural house of Greenland. Further informations at www.katuaq.gl

Santa Claus of Greenland
Santa's Post-office is housed at the tourist office.  Santa receives letters from children all over the world and these are kept in the world's biggest post-box, situated outside of the post-office.

Arctic Marathon
Nuuk Marathon is an annual event in Nuuk since 1991.  Every August, international runners as well as locals join hands together to enjoy the event. For further informations please look at www.arctic-marathon.gl
