Full circle.You hear that a lot, but what does it mean? I can only speak for myself, and as I flip through old photos trying to de-clutter my life I found some gems that I wanted to share.
In Tony's touching Elegy in the current issue 282 of FANGORIA, he talks about that first meeting between he and I in 1989 at the FANGORIA'S WEEKEND OF HORRORS in Detroit (my first con) where we took that infamous photo. I almost shared that pic today but I know Tony doesn't like his 80's shirt and frankly, I am making a dumb expression. :) As you can see below, my shirt isn't much better as my hero Kane Hodder mock strangles me as I gleefully wear my very first self sculpted and applied makeup. I was soooooo proud of my blistery face that I had made out of slip latex that I ran up to KNB honcho Greg Nicotero and tried to scare him! He apparently wasn't scared and I walked away bloody and embarrassed.
