News > Top 5 Things You Need To Know About The Game
Looking forward to the newest Bond movie? So are we, partly because Activision's game based on Quantum of Solace is expected to turn up in stores right as the movie releases. Not only is it the first Bond game to hit the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, and the Wii, it's the first to star craggy Bond hero Daniel Craig himself. Here are five more reasons why you should be looking forward to it, too.

1. One Agent vs. The Odds

Just because 007 is outnumbered doesn't mean the odds are against him. Bond uses the environments in Quantum of Solace to his advantage by hacking into camera systems, triggering explosions, and sometimes even collapsing parts of the world down onto enemies. He's not a super spy for nothing.

2. Backed by Hollywood talent

Sure, it stars Craig himself, but what Bond game would be complete without a star-studded supporting cast and a beautiful Bond girl? Quantum of Solace features likenesses and voiceovers directly from the same actors starring in the eagerly anticipated film, including Judi Dench as M, Mathieu Amalric as Dominic Greene, and Olga Kurylenko as Camille - the new Bond girl in Quantum of Solace.

3. Sneak or run-and-gun? It's up to you

As the ultimate renaissance man, Bond is all about keeping his options open. Many missions in Quantum of Solace can be completed either by using stealth tactics to evade enemies or by running in guns blazing. Sure, you can attach silencers to most of the weapons in the game, but that doesn't mean you have to.

4. Bond goes multiplayer

There's only one 007, but that doesn't mean you're on your own in Quantum of Solace. Fans of previous Bond games (notably classic N64 multiplayer shooter Goldeneye) will certainly be happy to hear that Quantum of Solace features an extensive multiplayer experience, where players can earn new weapons and upgrades as well as play brand new multiplayer modes unique to the 007 universe.

5. Built on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare technology

Quantum of Solace is built on the same core technology behind one of 2007's best-selling games, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, but the buck doesn't stop there. Playing as James Bond, gamers can hack into computers and electronics, use a variety of new weapons, and also take advantage of a new third-person cover system that allows players to stylishly stay out of the line of fire.
