When More Than Accounting Is Needed For Your Growing Business
Technology & Your Business This Week
February 10
Small businesses are not all the same. Some are very small and can do just fine with minimal accounting and business management solutions. Others are much bigger, and require technology to help them better manage their complex infrastructure. This complexity can include manufacturing, accounting, payroll, marketing, CRM, sales and other components.

Do you feel like a cat herder?

India has a large pool of knowledge workers in various sectors ranging from Pharmacy, Medicine, Law, Biotechnology, Education & Training, Engineering, Analytics, Design & Animation, Research & Development, Paralegal Content and even Intelligence services.

The Power of Online Data Collection
Hi Kim,
Thanks for writing. The CAN-SPAM laws are pretty clear and unwanted email is a problem, but you can buy lists where people have opted in. You can also (which is required by law) simply have a way for them to opt-out, and while I'm not an expert in the CAN-SPAM law, I know that if you abide by most of the specifics, and give the recipient a way out, then you've done no harm. I have numerous clients that collect emails from site visitors and then those visitors forget and ask to unsubscribe! I believe the best way to collect names is to offer content of value that people opt-in to receive.

What do you think about OpenOffice? I have been using it and I like it better than the M$ Office suite. This is a case where the free version is better than paid.
