PSO means Phantasy Star Online, that online game that was for the Dreamcast that got ports/sequels on the GC, Xbox, and PC.

Which totally reminds me that I haven't checked on anything about Phantasy Star Universe since like, before the summer. Did that game come out yet?

no metroid prime, sorry. beat it, thought it was 'ok', nothing special (play HL2 on PC)... wind waker was really mediocre (no jumping!)... paper mario 2 was interesting, but got boring durring some levels ala glitzville, the tree level, etc (play Mario and Luigi 2)... eternal darkness? where did that come from?... Disgea was good, but not great (play FFT)...

I have played PSO only for a little more than 100 hours, so that is nothing compared to the time I've played KH1. :)

I agree. I hate Squeenix as a company (Japan's EA when it comes to takeovers) and Disney as a company. But Square makes some good games and Nomura is awesome. I cant wait for KHII and I am glad that it got a good score.

That is probably the worst reason NOT to get a PS2. It has lots of great games, so you know you will get some quality gaming already when you buy the console.

Btw, KH2 is great. I just couldn't hold myself, so I downloaded the Japanese version. I'm not going to play this through, just to soften the anxiety of waiting for the english release. The camera system IS better. I haven't yet gotten to use the Drive system, so I can't say anything about that. Even if I don't understand anything, the plot seems really interesting. Some great things happening in the beginning. I'm not going to play this much longer, just the BHK part. Man, this is just so addicting, it's not that often these days that I play a game for three hours without breaks.

Oh, I hate the voices of the Japanese Goofy and Sora (haven't heard the older version, but the younger in flashbacks).. Just hate them. Haley Joel Osment is a lot better, and will hopefully be as the older Sora. Other than those, the voice actors are good or great.

Kingdom Hearts just never grabbed my attention. I can't tell if it's my died-off interest in RPGs, my disgust with what Disney's done to itself, or my generally dislike toward Square's new mainstream appeal.

At least we know that in Famitsu's eyes, Vagrant Story is still superior. I have no love for KH...

its been marketed and hyped a lot - i dont think famitsu would give a low score to put a damper on the release. on the other hand they didnt score it perfect - famitsu making a statement?

and the mario and luigi game - i wish i could try before i buy - but the way the comments are going, i'll probably pick this one up in the new year too.

The scores for KH2 make me squee with glee. ^.^ I can't wait for the game!

I hated Mario and Luigi 1... but I am totally addicted to Mario and Luigi 2. It is a fantastic game. I highly, highly recommend it. I find myself playing it over the new Castlevania, which I am a huge Castlevania fan and not a fan of Mario RPGs.

As for KHII, it will be amazing, everyone knows that already. I'm sure it deserves a 40/40. I mean, just look at it! (drools) =D

I'm surprised there's so much damn talk on KHII instead of Mario & Luigi 2's score - the first one got tedious quickly, but for Famitsu to give a handheld RPG a score that high bodes well for the game.

That Simple 2000 game on the other hand...ouch

How could anyone be surprised that Mario and Luigi 2 got a good score? The game is amazingly good. I would've given it a 9 myself.

What did Front Mission 4 get? I would imagine it was scored a bit lower. If it's like I think it is, FM5 will suddenly be at the top of my "I really hope it comes out here within the next 6 months" list.

Wow, I'm completely shocked about the 39/40 for KH II. They must have fixed a lot of the glaring flaws with the first one...like revamping the fight system and fixing the camera for one. The first one was a decent game, but far far away from a 39/40.

I need to get a PS2 so I can play the greatness of both KH's. Silly me and spending money on people.

I saw the opening intro, and it's awesome. It really doesn't show anything new, it has parts of KH1 and Chains of Memories re-created in beautiful CGI. It's done by the same group as FFVII Advent Children. Seems like KH2 won't be disappointing.

WOW!! 39/40 for KHII, it seems is going to be as good as everyone was hoping it would be...
