12. Vega (Street Fighter II)

Vega was initially introduced as Balrog when Street Fighter II came out in Japan, but Capcom of America played a name-change upon the game's release in the States and since dubbed him Vega. That doesn't stop this flamboyant Spanish warrior from pounding his enemies into the dirt. Not only does this mask-wearing athlete sport a razor sharp claw (which can be broken), but his aerial attacks make him a force to be reckoned with.

I do give you tons of props for including Chun-Li on the list she's been in street fighter from the beginning of the game that was back in the early 90's.

Why isn't guy on the list? He was definitly a ninja and better than that other girl... and ryu isn't number 1? I guess that you guys weren't trying to be predictable but come on, there is no way that ryu isn't #1!!!

ibuki was not the first ninja in street fighter. Guy was. he was trained in ninjistu. and not having ryu as number 1 is a major fail. ryu should be number one on any top street fighter character list.

This list is like waking up on Christmas morning to find Santa's head wrapped in a box. Disappointing and emotionally scarring. You have Shen-Long on the list when majority of the people reading this list weren't even born in 1989. That is like making a list of great action movies of the 90s and having "The Great Train Robbery" as number 5 on the list. You crammed a butt-load of random characters on the list like Ibuki and Sakara. You might as well start putting Rival School characters on here too if you want to go with the vague angle. My biggest peeve about this list isn't that you kept Vega out of the top 10 or that Cody wasn't on here wearing his "mummy" outfit according to one of your sub-human writers. It is that you put Dan on the list. DAN. Not even the guy who created Dan likes Dan. Why don't you make a Mortal Kombat character list and put Rain or Ermac on it and kick Kano out of the ranking. But I digress, mainly because you foot-chewers have probably already done that. Next time you do a list of fighting characters make sure you played the game first, and not just guess or write what you've heard from word-of-mouth. I don't write reviews about "Gone With the Wind" or "The Red Balloon".
