Convert's Tribe Affiliation
and Land Inheritance

Q: What tribe do I belong to as a convert ? Do I inherit land (where do I live) when Mashiach comes?"

A: Every convert is converted through the Beit Din ("Jewish Court") of a particular tribe. This is Divine Providence. In a certain way, that convert belongs to the portion of the person who brought him to Judaism. He receives his portion from that tribe.
