I agree with some of the comments that are on here, if you are going to compare games based on graphics, then you should compare system to system, otherwise that is like comparing Pong, on the Atari system, to any game that would be on Wii or XBox 360. You are comparing different generations of systems which is not fair. However just basing the comments on game story lines or missions, would be more acceptable, but also you have to take into consideration which overall generation the game was designed to appeal to.

and almost forgot, i think that spiderman X-men: arcade's revenge for the SNES deserved a place on the list, some missions were completely nefarious like gambit's wheel of doom or the 2nd mission of wolverine escaping from juggernaut, also control was hard, sometimes a simple jump becomes a certain death... and wolverine adamantium rage wasn't that bad, the problem was that the game had several button combinations that you won't be using on the game

if you're going to compare games graphics, OBVIOUSLY you need to compare them with games on the same console or port outs, if we compare TMNT with mighty final fight graphics, MFF has a superb design...

I started to read some of what has already be written, but a lot of you are off tangent (not a bad thing). I would like to say though that, this is one of the best games that ever came out on the NES. Multiple characters, multiple bad guys, decent story (from what I remember, and who can forget riding around in the turtle mobile. This game was very, very challenging (I never did beat it). This game is what me and my brother played, every Saturday mourning after Saturday Morning cartoons. Oh yeah, and if anybody does remember you could also throw Chinese stars and boomerangs if I remember correctly, now that is cool.
