when you pick up a gun theres no animation it just magically appears in his hands and then he loads. what they should do is what far cry 2 did and show him reaching out and picking the gun up just to make the game even more realistic

The hand animation on the valve looks stiff, and the voice acting sounds stupid, or maybe it's just that one guy, rico sounds cool as do most of the rest of the team.

Playing too much Halo aren't we? in Halo your character is a god damn super human almost robot like person whos strong enough to get rid of the recoil entirely with his strength. Although Master chief can suppress the recoil of a .50 cal sniper rifle but can't handle a weakass SMG's recoil blows my mind.
These guys are pretty normal soldiers, they cant handle the recoil to where every bullet is going to hit exactly where the crosshair is pointed at.
