Gil McNeil's latest book in the UK, Magic, is an anthology of short stories edited by Gil and Sarah Brown, who also wrote the introduction. Magic includes a foreword by JK Rowling and new short stories by Kate Atkinson, Joanna Harris, Meera Syal, Sue Townsend, Arabella Weir and Fay Weldon among others and will raise funds for the National Council for One Parent Families.The Only Boy for Me is Gil McNeil's first novel and has been optioned by Greenpoint Films. She has worked in advertising, the film business and publishing. She is currently writing her second novel.
