They are upgrading their OS and they will have a new touch screen compatible OS for the N97 in Q1 next year, I got this info at CES 2009. Nokia is the best cell phone maker their phones actually do what they are supposed to and they last.
Nokia makes great phones from a hardware perspective but the OS is poorly supported. What we need is a high end Nokia (something along the lines of the N96 or N97) running Android.

Their mobile phones are awesome. A nokia laptop would be great, but on the other hand maybe they should stick what they are good. A laptop might damage its reputation.
