Upgrade the Blades: The very first thing you should upgrade in God of War II with your red orbs is your Athena's Blades (Kratos' default weapon)--this is because you will be using them the most during your quest. The second thing you should upgrade is one of your magic spells, NOT one of your other weapons.

Death from Above: Is an archer firing on your from far away? Or, are you just not able to attack an enemy that is in a hard to reach location? Use your Typhon's Bane to rain on them with your magical arrows.

The Fattest Sword Since Final Fantasy VII: To get the gigantic Blade of Olympus, you will need to beat the game. You will be able to wield it for a brief period of time while fighting the Colossus of Rhodes, but you need to start a new game after completing God of War II before you will be able to whip it out at any time.

God of Matrix: Slowing down time with the Amulet of the Fates is important to get past puzzles, but you can also use it to gain a huge advantage over enemies. Activate it and then slaughter them as they move in slow motion.

Finish Him Quickly: You should always press Circle immediately when the icon appears over an enemy's head, especially when you are battling multiple enemies. This is because the less enemies you are fighting, the easier it is on you to make it out of clashes unscathed--it's as simple as that.

Rock You Like A Hurricane: Atlas' Quake is an effective magic spell to disorient enemies. If you are low on health and need a way to temporarily disable your opponents, try it.

Turbo Button Mashing: Whenever you are prompted to press a button rapidly and repeatedly, hold the controller with one hand and woodpecker the button your are supposed to press (usually it's Circle) with the index finger of your other hand.

ProTip: If upgraded enough the Typhone Bane can be used to create a devastating tornado that can clear a path of enemys. This is great when cicled because you can escape the circle and attack.

ProTip: im stuck on the board,for the second time,im back and the head has the beams flowing again, but how do i get through that get with the spartains fighting the montar, and its a drawing on the wall on zeus and the sisters of faith, im stuck , i pushed the 2 statues on top of each other and got to the top, im just stuck what do i do now

ProTip: I'm stuck trying to figure out how to escape the closing metal racks that have all the spikes on it. It is right after the part where the one sister of fate tells you that you have a long time to go and that you will never get to their temple. How do I get out of that trap?

ProTip: Way stuck...i am past the pegasus air duel and am on some island. i left some guy zeus is torturing hanging above the fires of the titans/gods? i continued on and plucked out an eye and received the bow, went back shot the chains, dude fell in the fire. went back into ice cave and don't know what to do next. am standing where the guy with the bad breath is blowing on the rocks that can be smashed. r u supposed to go left? u come to a bridge with some areas missing which is too far to jump. Am i on the right track or off in another direction? i think pegasus is still pinned down by the titan. i have to free pegasus before i can continue. any help would be appreciated.
