New York Daily News David Hinckley
In general, we like his character, and Reese's. They have a new boss named Kevin Tidwell (Donal Logue), who doesn't start off all good or all bad. Neither does the show. But if it can maintain this level of quality, it's got a shot.

It's all more like a steady burn--of talent, of smart writing, of chemical reactions--and it may take a few episodes to feel the heat.

Crews is complicated, moody and downright strange most of the time, but in the hands of a talented team of writers and producers, it results in a drama that is funny, edgy and multilayered.

I found it to be more or less the same competent procedural that it was last season.

Because of Lewis' brilliant portrayal of the eccentric Charlie, the show is perfectly enjoyable. It's just not compelling, mainly because the ongoing story of Charlie's search for justice is so isolated from the rest of the show that it seems meant for bathroom and snack breaks.

Charlie Crews is the most intriguing character on network TV.

Mark L gave it a10:
"Life" is a truly excellent show, the first major-network show in years I make a point of watching. Every character is complex, interesting, and engaging. Kudos to NBC for renewing it - now how about some promotion?

Thoughtless4U gave it a10:
Great show, but needs lots and lots more promotion because it isn't gonna stick around when no one watches is because no one knows it's on! Friday nights, 10:00 pm, NBC.

JA L gave it a10:
I love this show. It is so sad that NBC has put this show on the Friday night Hell spot. I enjoyed Damian Lewis' quirky ways in Season 1. Bring it back, PLEASE!

Cyn M. gave it a10:
This is a fantastic show that get absolutely NO press! I don't understand the logic of spending time and effort into developing a show and not promoting it.

Aimee P. gave it a9:
Excellent show! I love Damian Lewis. It's just a fun show to watch.
