    OnMedia 2009 is on at the Ritz Carlton in Manhattan. Pairing up Silicon Valley titans with the advertising community, OnMedia's opening keynote comes from Draper Fisher Jurvetson Managing Director Tim Draper. Tim will not be pleased if you ask him if he's related to Don Draper. On the tube, the Beanpot hockey tourney, featuring the best in Bostonian college puckswatters, is on NESN at 5 p.m. ET, while Nickelodeon celebrates the Chinese New Year with the Ni Hao, Kai-lan special "Ladybug Festival" at 8. Speaking of festive occasions, RuPaul's Drag Race, which seeks out the freshest face in drag queen competitions, premieres on Logo at 10.

  • January 26 - 30: NATPE, NATPE and More NATPE

    Content confab NATPE is on at Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Fox screens Joss Whedon's sci-fi drama Dollhouse, before Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News and NBC Universal host the Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards dinner. Winners are Two and a Half Men co-creator Chuck Lorre, House of Payne creator Tyler Perry, NBC Entertainment co-chairman Ben Silverman and Disney-ABC Television Group President Anne Sweeney. And there are several premieres on the box: Nickelodeon brings the beloved children's-book series Olivia, featuring that plucky porcine protagonist, to TV at 11:30 a.m. ET. Kyra Sedgwick stars in the season premiere of The Closer on TNT at 9, followed by the debut of Trust Me at 10. Call it Will & Ed, or Will & That Dude From Love Monkey-Trust stars Eric McCormack and Tom Cavanagh....

    America is awash in Inauguration Eve glee, which makes it just about the perfect time for conservative commentator Glenn Beck to make his debut on Fox News Channel. The CNN expat helms Glenn Beck-featuring "Beck's unconventional perspective of the day's top stories"-at 5 p.m. ET. Indeed, our nation's capital expects a few million visitors tomorrow, a few hundred of them headed to GE's brunch celebration at The National Museum of Women in the Arts. Hosting are the jefe Jeffs-GE Chairman/CEO Immelt and NBC Universal President/CEO Zucker.

    The Television Critics Association tour is on at the Universal Hilton in Los Angeles, with a visit to the CSI set and a chat with Laurence Fishburne about his new role on the CBS mega-drama. The star quotient stays sky-high as The CW and CBS Paramount throw a 90210 bash at the Peach Pit, with the Kokomo Café standing in for the greatest TV diner since Arnold's. Stars from both 90210s will be there, though sadly Pit proprietor Nat, as played by Joe E. Tata, will not. Down D.C. way, the NAB holds its Winter Board Meeting at its headquarters on N Street. And up in Manhattan, The Paley Center hosts the world premiere of American Experience: The Trials of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Director David Grubin and star David Strathairn grace the panel.

    It's time for the return of the most dramatic rose ceremonies ever-The Bachelor has its two-hour premiere on ABC at 8. After being rejected by the "Bachelorette" last season, single dad Jason Mesnick gets his shot to do the rejecting this time around. Over in NYC, actor John Turturro talks to New York 1 anchor Budd Mishkin about his colorful career-including, hopefully, that memorable turn as a trash-talking bowler in The Big Lebowski-at the 92nd Street Y's Kaufmann Concert Hall at 8. And get the skinny on how to shed those holiday pounds while sitting on your couch, with the premiere of DietTribe on Lifetime at 10.
