STFax
STFax represents the evolution of fax management for the single computer or for the business LAN. The accent has been placed on user-friendliness, efficiency and speed. Its multiplatform structure that supports Windows, Macintosh and AmigaOS 4.0 operating systems is truly innovative.
STFax will be available in 2 versions: Professional for single computer and Server for client/server environments over LAN.

Main features
Fax management
• Sending and receiving faxes with class 1, 2 and 2.0 modem
• Downloading faxes stored in the internal memory of the modem, like: MicroLink Office and US Robotics Message Plus/Pro
• Automatic printing of received faxes
• Automatic forwarding of received faxes to another fax number
• Automatic reply fax, depending on Caller ID
• Email forwarding of received fax
• Scheduled sending of a fax at a given time
• Management of fax out queue (errors management, multiple send retry…)
• More modems management
Voice management
• Support for Rockwell, USRobotics, ZyXEL set of commands.
• Possibility to define one “script” made of a limited number of functions for voice calls management.
• Call screening: using Caller ID support it is possible to create several filters to be applied to incoming calls. It is possible to ignore incoming calls from certain numbers, to answer with a personalized welcome message, to notify the user, to execute a particular script or an external command.
• Distinctive ring: some telephone operators allow to assign more telephone numbers to a user, assigning different ring tones depending of the number composed from caller. Based on the ring code given back from the modem it is possible to do a particular management of calls. This functionality requires to be supported by the modem and by the telephone operator. |
