Best Bets of the TV Season

We're not betting people. Oh, sure, we sometimes go down to the track and drop a C note on the greyhounds, but that's more to spite PETA than anything else. No, we're pretty frugal with our cash, but if there's one safe bet this year it's that some of the new fall TV shows are going to kick arse eight ways from Sunday.

The tricky part, of course, is figuring out just which new series are going to be the good ones and which are going to make Denise Richards: It's Complicated look like King Lear (hint: Richards is Regan). Of course, we know that you don't have the time to figure this crap out; after all, that's what you pay us to do, through the ample support you give to our many sponsors by accidentally clicking on their ads that sprawl across your whole screen like a giant mutant spiderweb.
