I think any red-blooded American male has engaged in the fantasy of being examined by a hot female doctor. Let's face it - they're trained in every facet of the human body, and with their knowledge of anatomy and physiology we've no doubt that once the boot-knocking began they'd be making us beg for mercy. So in this feature, we're shining a light on our favorite female doctors from TV shows past and future, whether they be in private practice, working in a hospital, or plying their skills in the service of law enforcement. Of course, many medical professionals had to be left out on technicalities, from Linda Cardellini's character Samantha Taggart on ER (only a nurse) to Toshiko on Torchwood (may not have gone to medical school). But what's remaining is a top-tier list of doctors as beautiful as they are skillful - if not more so.
