Recently, while browsing through the random nonsense that passes for news these days (what's all this crap about a presidential election, anyway?) we stumbled upon a story of shocking heartbreak that made our stomachs drop. Yes, CBS announced that it was canceling Moonlight.

And that was just the beginning. While we were still reeling from the body blow of our favorite exchange student tale since Better Off Dead ending, we were hit with an uppercut -- the news that The CW had cancelled Aliens in America. As we continued to read the list of casualties we felt like Glass Joe after three rounds with Piston Hurricane and were left begging for mercy from the capricious TV gods.

Of course, those soulless TV execs ignored our pleas, but it did get us thinking about all the great shows that were canned before they could find an audience bigger than us and our pets. Indeed, there have been so many unjust cancellations that we were able to come up with a top eleven based just on the past two seasons. So while you're trying to figure out whether to watch My Dad Can Beat Up Your Dad or Farmer Wants a Wife, take a look at our list of Television Shows Canceled Before Their Time. And weep.
