30 Rock

30 Rock was enthusiastically anticipated by the many fans of Tina Fey - she was arguably the best thing to happen to SNL since Phil Hartman. However, the first few episodes of 30 Rock did little to inspire confidence in Tina's move to a prime time sitcom.

They say good things come to those who wait, and they ain't kidding. In this case, we didn't even have to wait long. A few episodes into the season, the jokes got sharper - much sharper, actually - the performances got zingier. Everything gelled, and now we can scarcely believe there was a time when 30 Rock wasn't our favorite show.
