Are Mages any good ?...Been a Hunter for awhile now and wanted to try out a Mage....

they are not bad, if you use the right spell combo they can be very lethal and the blinking is really handy when you are in a thight spot.
And of course the water and bread conjuring is a bonus.
But remember, They have no armour and the conjuring of spells can take a while and taking a hit slows it down even more.
But I do like playing with a mage

I used to play a Mage on the Bonechewer server. I just didn't like how warped, and abnormal they are at level 70 (Pre-BC Mages were so much better) so I deleted it forever. I was better off playing a Priest, or even a Shaman.

I have a level 20 Mage, and I agree with the second post. If played correctly Mages are one of the most powerful classes in the game. Then again I should think you can say that for any class
