Over the years, many tales have been told about Superman, but never has a tale featured the superhero as a teenager. Having the power to rule the world, what made Clark Kent chose good over evil?

The show is great I believe the producers have done alot for the show and the best sitcom for special effects.

some may say the show is running on I do kinda agree they should ring in the justice league I when they first appered on the show they used there code name.. green arrow, aqua man and soo on why is clark still clark?

smallville set the hights for other shows living in the UK I don`t know too much about how US tele work works but smallville put cw network on the map

season nine on its way, lex and lana are back way to go..

I've never written a review before but these last two episodes have made me want to share how much I'm disappointed in the way the show has gone off the rails.

Three episodes ago I was loving Season 8. Doomsday was the most interesting villian (other than Lex) in ages and finally Clark and Lois were getting closer. This was great because we all know there is a future there. It's not like the Lana thing where we know it can't last. Now, three episodes on what, what have we got?

Lana...has...superpowers. I mean seriously, just think about that. Obviously the writers don't mind devaluing Clarks's "unique" gifts (we've seen Kara and John Jones both have the same powers..and fly too!) but to give Lana the same powers, how can that be good for the show?? Not only is she as strong as Clark she's stronger! If she wanted to she could beat the crap out of him because he gets weak as soon as they get near each other. It's an absolute joke how the writers had a great season going and in one foul swoop ruined the entire show. All the momentum is gone. I only hope that the remaining episodes make up for the last three, and that Lana somehow gets stripped of her new powers without actually having to take up any screen time. A phonecall saying "Hi Clark it's Lana, I don't have powers anymore....and I'm about to get hit by a bus" would be good.

Poor, poor stuff.

There aren't many TV shows that I watch on a weekly basis, but Smallville is one that I cannot miss. I own every season on DVD and am amazed how each new episode supercedes the previous one. I believe that many overlook Smallville because of it's relevance to Comic Books and Superheroes and many would believe that it is only for children, but Smallville provides great storylines and wonderful depth to each and every character. True, some of the ideas have been a little re-hashed (meteor freaks in specific) but to their defense, the show has been running for 8 seasons. My only suggestion would be to continue the legacy of Smallville and change the name to Metropolis and finally see Clark Metamorphis in the MAN OF STEEL. Tom Welling would make a phenomenal Superman and everything is setup for this show to head in that direction. I love Smallville and I hope that it continues to air for many, many years to come!

When Smallville debuted, it was very entertaining. Now it's very predictible. I only watch it to see if it can get any better, but it's losing steam in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it's classic Superman, but I think they may need to end soon. The show is actually getting corny, and they have some pretty lame story lines. Earlier in the series, it was worth watching. Now, not so much. I hope the show gets better, so that they can have two or three more seasons, but maybe if they end now they'll be doing a good thing.
