From executive producers Paul Attanasio, Katie Jacobs, David Shore, and Bryan Singer comes a new take on mystery, where the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients.

Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) is devoid of bedside manner and wouldn't even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. Dealing with his own constant physical pain, he uses a cane that seems to punctuate his acerbic, brutally honest demeanor. While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a maverick physician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts have afforded him a great deal of respect. An infectious disease specialist, he's a brilliant diagnostician who loves the challenges of the medical puzzles he must solve in order to save lives. Probably and by far the best show that aired in TV. One amazing, weird and sarcastic Dr. Gregory House and three amazing actors playing Chase, Cameron and Foreman as "interns" without forgetting Dr. Lisa Cuddy to add some fun and boob jokes. What the hell happened to this show? Thirteen is the only one saving herselft from the main the cast. What about the rest? There is just no story there not to mention the sarcastic jokes are way below the initial level. Might as well forget about the patients as well since they are a completely secondary subject with these days episodes. The best twist was probably Wilson's girlfriend and yet you managed to kill her. Well ... a great way to kill her but kill her none the less. Loose the new guys. Bring the old ones back as main actors and with more time on screen.

House is a decent show, I thinks its one of those shows where you can start to watch it anytime I started to watch this show mid way through the first season, I have never really watched like a must watch shw watching it each week without fail but I do look out for it. Hugh Laurie is terrific as Dr Gregory House he is by far the best thing about the show and thats how it should be. The writing is great. I enjouyed the first three seasons the most but season 4 was good too. Yet to watch the fifth season but I cant wait.

I love this show, and watch it every time its on. but I dont have the FOX channel so i have to wait for the rerun to come on on USA. which sucks cuz i love this show and watch it all the time. please change the channel that this show air's. I myself am in the medical field and when i watch this show i love it how i can try anf solve the patients illness along with the show. OH I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great show which is very educative. It contains a great cast and a great storyline. The choice of the protagonist is a great one, his name is House (Hugh Laurie). The show has a great storyline and it is also very humorous. The writers do a great job of coming up with different ailments that must not be easy but they do it so well.Every episode we look up for a new complication and always trying to solve the cases is very great one minute you think you have gotten it then the next minute you feel like an idiot. All in all a great show kudos to the cast and crew. A great storyline and definitely a trendsetter.

The sherlock holmes references are apt and make the show much fun. I fancy the way the diagnostic process unwinds and eventually discovers the real problem along with the personal stories of the physicians and patients.

The irony of Dr. House personal health and frequent references to it is also striking, as well as his poor skills at almost anything else.

I have followed many seasons of the show and find many episodes above average, sometimes excellent. I prefer the old pre-fourth season cast though, but has grown to enjoy the new faces. The many reviews and comments about Hugh Laurie himslf and the show are a testament to its quality.
