Grey's Anatomy is a hospital drama that focuses on Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), one of several first-year surgical interns, (now first year resident) at a Seattle, Wash., hospital. Along with her colleagues, Meredith struggles to maintain relationships while staying sharp at her new job.

The professional roles and real lives of a diverse group of surgeons collide unexpectedly in this Golden Globe-winning ABC television drama. As an intern at prestigious Seattle Grace Hospital, Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) tries hard to live up to the reputation of her legendary surgeon mother while hiding the fact that her mom now suffers from Alzheimer's disease. As if life weren't complicated enough, Meredith also falls for her boss, Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), a surgical attending recently relocated to Seattle from New York. Meredith's friend and rival Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) finds herself in a similarly taboo romance with Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington), Derek's chief competition for the title of chief of surgeory. As for Meredith and Cristina's fellow interns -- Isobel "Izzie" Stevens (Katherine Heigl), George O'Malley (T.R. Knight), and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) -- they've got problems of their own. Izzie doesn't want to be judged for her underwear-model past; Alex is better at bedding the ladies than bedside manner; and George can't get any of the women around him to see him as anything but a cuddly friend. All five interns answer to the roar of senior resident Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), affectionately known as "the Nazi." But even Dr. Bailey jumps to it when Chief of Surgery Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) is on the scene. "Grey's Anatomy" is back in rare form this episode. Even with the cast shakeups, it's still found what attracted us in the first place. Maybe some wanted to bang their head against a wall, but this week featured some good / funny cases, relationship drama, and Derek trying to find the right way to propose to Meredith the whole episode. My guess is his proposal will wait until the end of the crossover episodes this February. Some nice Hunt/Yang, Alex/Izzie stuff too. Overall, great episode. So bring on the crossover, ABC! Hopefully it lives up to all of the hype.

I have tried to watch the show a couple times, but I just can't sit there for an hour and do so. I think this is an overrated show and I don't understand why people think it's the coolest show on television. I think the acting is decent, but the way they behave on the show is so unoriginal and immature. ABC is good at having the most overrated shows so I am not all that surprised. I think the way the show is going, it has hit its peak and will fizzle out sooner or later. Sorry, but that's just what I think. Thank you.

Grey's Anatomy is a great show that mixes drama and comedy in a very intersting way. I'm often laughing or wanting to cry. It is about some surgeons at Seattle Grace Hospital - I love following the dramas and the gossips inside there. The characters have to manage living their personal lifes and their responsabilities as doctors. I love following the problems and the funny situations they get themselves in. I love the Mcmoments, Lexie with Sloan, Izzie with Alex (enough of Danny) and the friendship between Mer and Cristina. The cases are very creatives and some are quite touching. What just make the show even better.

Grey's anatomy is one of the best series I've seen.
It is weird to see a drama-mix-with-comedy show, and actually be both. Sure there's great dramas or commedies but greys writer manage to do it in a very realistic way.
Beside the medical cases (wich of course have to be interesting), we get to see the characters real life, their troubles and how they make it through. That mix with the hilarious quotes and situations, they get involved every day is simply catchy and addictive.

Like every other show, greys has its ups and downs, but the writers always manage to make it back.

I hope they dont lose it, cause we have a show on its way to become a classic of tv series.

I absolutely love this show. It's a great mix of drama and comedy! I love following all the problems and funny happenings of each character at Seattle Grace, and I'm often laughing or wanting to cry.

The stories of the patients, too, are very captivating. The recent one of the murderer on death row had me very interested. And then, when he wanted to give his organs to the little boy, I was seriously ready to scream, "Just let him do it, already!"

The drama at the hospital is great. The secrets are fun to follow.

Overall, I absolutely love this show!
