Family Guy is by far, one of the funniest animated comedies on television! It stars Peter Griffin, a family man who is also a total dumbass, Lois Griffin, the mother of the family, Stewie Griffin, an evil, swearing infant who plots to rule the world, Chris Griffin, idiotic brother of Meg Griffin, an unappreciated high-schooler with no friends, and last, Brian Griffin, a talking dog (well, more of a talking-back dog). This show also features Peter's wacky friends, Quagmire, a total perv, Joe Swanson, a crippled police official, and Cleveland. This show pokes fun at cartoons, movies, politics and more in the most hilarious way you could ever imagine! Family Guy is also famous for having a funny clip to go along with every scene. When you see Family Guy in your TV listings from now on, watch it on FOX, TBS, or Cartoon Network's [adult swim].

Basically I seen that this show has good reviews and a lot of my firends like it. However, I am speaking for myself, and this show SUCKS! If I was to give my rating, it would be in the negatives. Honestly, it's not funny 96+% of the time, and is really gross and disturbing. The characters are horrible and the flashbacks are unecessary. The plots of the episodes are also bad. The only episode I enjoyed was the 100th episode clip show (which wasn't really an episode, and it was actually bashing Family Guy)

Family Guy can't do profanity (like South Park, which is funny), and should have less inapropriate content as Spongebob.

And don't campare FG to the Simpsons. They're barely alike and the only thing they have in common is the fathers are idiots (but in FG, Peter, Chris and Meg [sometimes Lois and Brian] are idiots). The Simpsons is WAAAAAY better, and so is King of the Hill, and Spongebob and other shows. Seth can't do a normal family sitcom and should be a stand up comic instead, and stick to American Dad, which is much better, although it is still painful to watch.

This is my opinion. But if you're tempted, go ahead and watch Family Guy; you may like it (I sure didn't).

FG is a show based off the lives of the Griffen family. It is very funny with there constant cut away gags and peters stupidity and the fact FG is not afraid to say what they want. People are always appauled due to the shows humor but come on the stuff they show is not nearly half as bad as South Park. So everyone should just chill and enjoy it I mean it's just a show come on people out there grow up. And in the constitution it says freedom of speech so Seth keep on coming with more FG. omgg. wat to say. this show is amazingly funny. i no its just a cartoon but some of the things these characters do is so halairious. Peter and Lois would be the worlds funnest parents. i no sometimes they can be a bad infulence and they mite get annoying(they annoy meg) but still it wood be fun to even be neighbors to ppl like them.... if they were really real(: i always watch this show and for people who dont you really shoudl start. but it mite be innapporiate for younger kids but other then that its really funny.i love itt
