Bristol-Myers Squibb is confident in the safety of our products. We maintain stringent standards at all our manufacturing sites to ensure the high quality and safety of our products that customers have come to expect from us.
The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 requires manufacturers to provide additional information on the child resistant packaging of certain pharmaceuticals sold in the United States. In addition, manufacturers must obtain certification from an independent, accredited laboratory to establish that certain children’s toys and other products meet the necessary safety standards. Products for the purpose of laboratory testing, clinical testing, trade shows, samples or exports are excluded from the new requirements.
More information about the details of this new law
and its implementation may be found on the U.S.
Consumer Product Safety Commission website.
