The NYC Health Department joined the American Heart Association on Friday, February 6th, to observe the Go Red for Women and National Wear Red Day, a day of action aimed at raising awareness about New York City's leading cause of premature death. Many women don't realize that heart disease kills more women than any other cause, far exceeding breast cancer.
