Adam Newton

Adam Newton is counsel in the legal division at Procter & Gamble headquarters in Cincinnati. Previously he was an associate in the law firm of Frost Brown Todd, also in Cincinnati. His interest in the interplay between media freedoms and legal regulation began while working in middle and high school for The Indianapolis Star.

Newton later studied journalism as a Wells Scholar at Indiana University and graduated with first honors from Vanderbilt Law School, where he co-founded and served as executive editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment Law & Practice.

After law school, Newton clerked for the Hon. Gilbert S. Merritt of the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
