Online discussion site NewTalk (www.NewTalk.org) will host a three-day conversation about restoring order and respect in public schools. What are students learning in schools plagued by chronic disrespect, disorder, and disregard for the authority of educators? Why do schools tolerate classroom disorder? How should schools respond to chronically misbehaving students and to their parents? Over the course of the three-day discussion, these and other questions will be addressed by a panel of education-policy experts, including:
