Quite simply the best arcade racing game ever made. Everything that you loved about the last game is still here and kicking, but with added modes, more action, a faster sense of speed, and some truly addictive multiplayer modes, this game will undoubtedly go down in history as being the epitome of action racing this generation and possibly even the next.

Simply put, it's the best Burnout yet, and after four games, it's amazing that each one can consistently blow the previous entries away. Revenge does, and it is indeed sweet.

There's little chance to get bored, too, simply because of the volume of stuff to do in every race. Even a Bronze unlocks new stuff, but more obscure cars require specific goals like finishing a race unscathed or getting signature takedowns... Burnout's utterly, utterly brilliant. [GamesMaster]

Gaming Target
Sure, taking out the fear of hitting some of the traffic makes the game less terrifying than past Burnout games, and the increased emphasis on taking out opposition rather than merely outracing them might be too much for some die-hards to handle, but as you get used to it, the magic is still there.

Worth Playing
The sense of speed is upped a couple notches, the tracks are much more interesting, with alternate routes and lots of ramps, Crashbreaker races are immensely fun, traffic checking adds more wreckage and destruction (which is a good thing), the huge, multi-tiered crash stages are a big step up, and once again, even more speed.

Revenge really fumbles the ball with the addition of traffic checking, and its overt attempts at aggression are ultimately ironic counterpoints to a system that has lost many of its teeth. On its own, it's still one of the best racers available, but it is also a spectacular step backward for the series.

Getting more Burnout is always a treat - like getting more cake or pudding! - and although it'd be easy to whine about the lack of innovations, it's easier still to fall back in the routine of having amazing fun bouncing Car A off Car B and watching the whole world blow to pieces at warp speed. SRT4 Ever gave it a7:
Addicting, intense action on beautiful maps that sadly only lets you travel around on the tracks. Crash mode ruined compared to previous games. Jumps are largely weak in comparison to Midnight club. Nothing approaches the jump over the Seine in Paris in MC2. Traffic attack never really challenges. Early levels are all too easy to beat with the exception of a burning lap level on White Mountain, even using starting cars (compared to say MC2 or MC3 if you take a level 1 upgraded SRT4 and race against the blue triangle racers- detroit is a blast like that, heh). Like its predecessors, a fluffy puff pastry for snacking in between meals. Please make level 10 challenging next time, or make a few more levels.

Jared C. gave it a0:
Its a good game, but since the first two were terrible, it is agree-able that this game's style is the same as the first two, as it is, this one should be terrible too. In that case this game is a ledtown and enchants the flow of the Burnout trilagy.

Codey S. gave it a9:
Holy crap!! this is the most intense Racing game ive Ever Feakin played! Its so great wit all the modes and stuff, and i love the traffic checking, too bad that they took it out of dominator though. oh well, Awsome game gotta check it out. This game you'll be playing for a while. if u dont have it already, Go Get It!! i only gave it a nine though because it may not be for everyone. Go check it out.

Daniel T. gave it a10:
Burnout revenge has got to be the best racing game ever made. the destruction, speed and carnage in this game is so great it makes it constantly enjoyable. when ever i play it im hooked for hours on end and with the volume blasting out its like your there in the game. i bought burnout 3 and couldn't belive how good it was. so good i didn't think it could get any better but it did, so much more better it blows me away. Without a doubt burnout revenge kicks a**!

Mateus C. gave it an8:
Good but very repetitive gameplay. The loading times are some frustrating. The very point in consider this game is the graphics that looks like you are playing next generation.

da gangsta gave it a10:
The perfect game! It has multiple modes such as crash mode and traffic attack! Crash mode is exetremely addictive!
