He makes it obvious that he's reading from a script by the way he mispronounces names of characters like... SoarOn and LegleAss... and for christ sake TolKEEN...Makes you wonder if he ever even watched the movies...He's a gamer no doubt, and we can't talk about them all passionately, but I believe his professionalism needs to be worked on before he does these reviews... give us back the original narrator.
I have to agree, this isn't some new independent Japanese series, its LotR. Its kind of takes away from the review when he mispronounces the names of some of the most famous characters of a mega franchise. Still I admit my main problem is I just liked the old narrator.
Other than that not a bad review, but then again did this one really need reviewing? Another EA LotR with poor visuals, sub par animations, nad that is completely dependent on the movies for story telling, who'd have guessed.

Yeah agreed, I miss the other guy's narrative review better, a little more life in th voice. (No offence to Keiser).

I hate how GT's rating and review system is so superficial. Games that have more hype and a good history will almost always get an 8 or a 9 but games that are not part of a large franchise or company and doesn't spend as much time on the graphics will get a bad rating. That's why I rely on Gamespot for my reviews because they always play with an open mind and focus on all of the game not just it's flaws.not saying that I hate GT I actually like it better than Gamespot all I'm saying is I don't like their review philosophy. I played the demo of this game and I'll admit I got a little frustrated in the multiplayer, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm still in the waiting list to rent it.

Personally, I am still a huge fan of LotR: Third Age! There were only small differences between the xbox and ps2 versions of the game. It was fantastic and polished on either system!
I just wish (and dream) they bring the same core game-play back that LotR: Third Age was able to capture so well. Of course, it could use some tweaking! (such as less running around in a lifeless world until the next fight sequence)
The spell effects and the multitude of combat tactics at your disposal in LotR: Third Age are what will always stick with me...
...I mean seriously people...how could you NOT love the fire effects they pulled off on that god damn BALROG?!! The game is STILL stunning even at today's standards! The amazing sound was just the icing on the cake!
They really dropped the ball on this one!
