It was a good year in many aspects , except I probably did waste alot of my year partying, spending money that I didn't need to spend. I lost some good friends to death and just to other pointless shit, but I also gained some good ones.
THINGS I DIDN'T/WONT GET DONE IN 2008
Get My Feet Tattooed (due to lack of money)
Get My Minitruck (due to same thing haha )
Travel
Say Goodbye To some close friends that passed
Pick up my 50inch TV
Go see For The Fallen Dreams
THINGS I DID GET UP TO IN 2008!
Partied way too much
Broke some bones
Got septum pierced out of boredom
Drank way to many Energy Drinks
Made some good new friends
Lost most of my points on my license ( 1 left )
Started my own booking/promotion company
Made some $$$ but spent them all
I will write a whole lot more on this shortly, got fucking customers at work! -

Lyric game :D
8 Oct 2008, 22:29 by Look-at-me
edit -> so I noticed that most of these have the first 50 songs so I'm adding some more..
Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line or two from the first 50 songs that play
Step 3: Bold out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 4: List the bands so your journal will show up in bands profiles with connections.
Using Google to find lyrics is cheating!

'08 Has Been The Best Year For Music..
26 Aug 2008, 21:29 by JNellz
in ages(IMO). To start it off, Erykah Badu released a new album, her first album since Worldwide Underground which came out in '04. The Roots came out with Rising Down, which has quickly become one of my favorite albums ever. N*E*R*D released Seeing Sounds which is a BANGER. I saw Alicia Keys LIVE! (I've been waiting to see her live since she came out). I'm about to see Mary J. Blige live. A Tribe Called Quest is doin' RTB. John Legend is about to release a new album. Common is about to release an album. Monica and Brandy are coming back. Maxwell is about to come back. Lauryn Hill MIGHT be coming back. There have been sooo many good albums and new artists this year (Jazmine Sullivan, Keri Hilson, Janelle Monáe, J*Davey and Santogold are my new favorites).Solange surprised us ALL with her new album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. Michelle Williams' album is really good too. And isn't Bee comin' out with an album in November? C'mon, Kelendria...
NOW, all I need is Chrisette Michele, Goapele, India.Arie, Teedra Moses, Corinne Bailey Rae,and Heather Headley to release some new material. Goapele & Teedra have already teased me with their new songs, but I'm being a greedy bastard. I want more! =)
Out of all of these new artists though, I canNOT get into Shwayze. I just can't. It won't happen.
**and new Kanye West and Jay-Z?! WHAT?!** -
Change of heart [or at least, music taste.]
24 Aug 2008, 20:58 by plasticsoldiers
Since May my taste in music has changed drastically, even more so since the start of the year. I went from rock and metal to electronica and indie hip hop... and the Jonas Brothers. My favorite band is in fact no longer Avenged Sevenfold, it's Cobra Starship now. My top ten list right now consists of Cobra Starship, Jonas Brothers, We The Kings, 3Oh!3, Shwayze, The Cab, a new unsigned band called lets get it, Mayday Parade, Augustana, and Forever the Sickest Kids.
I've gone softcore. I'm seriously okay with that, too. -
