ENI RSS Feed: Terms and Conditions

By downloading an ENI RSS Feed you agree to the terms set out below. These Licence Terms below may be updated by ENI periodically. Please review these terms each time you download an ENI Feed.

Your download and/or use of an ENI Feed indicates your agreement to these Licence Terms.

A. Licence

A.1 Subject to the terms of this agreement ENI grants you a non-transferrable, royalty free non-exclusive licence to display on your Web site the headlines, active links or other source identifiers and other information or materials that you specifically select to receive from ENI via the ENI Feed.

A.2 All title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to the ENI Feed shall remain the property of ENI.

A.3 Nothing in these Licence Terms grants you any right to use the ENI logo on your Site or elsewhere.

A.4 ENI may make use of third-party service providers in offering its RSS Feed, or in offering features based on its RSS Feed. Your use of these third-party services is subject to terms posted by these third-party service providers. We have no control over any third-party site or service and we are not responsible for any changes to any third-party service or for the contents thereof, including, without limitation, any links that may be contained in or accessible through such third-party service.

B. Use of ENI Content

B.1 You must ensure that all ENI content on your site has an accreditation to ENI in accordance with the ENI accreditation guidelines from time to time. (Scroll down for the ENI accreditation guidelines as these may be amended by the ENI from time to time.)

B.2 You may not directly or indirectly charge users specifically for accessing ENI content or otherwise commercialise such content, nor attempt to re-sell the ENI content in any way.

B.3 Where possible you must create a functional link back to the ENI News story summarised by ENI Content. If you are displaying the ENI Feed where a functional link back to ENI is not possible, you must display on-screen the URL from which the ENI Content can be obtained. You may not directly or indirectly change, edit, add to or produce summaries of the ENI Content or any content on the ENI Web site nor place any full-story ENI content in an HTML frame-set, except insofar as you have a paid subscription that allows the use of full-text copy.

B.4 You acknowledge that ENI has absolute editorial control over all ENI Content and you accept that the ENI is editorially independent and that the editorial integrity of ENI Content is the sole responsibility of ENI.

C. Termination

C.1 You may terminate this agreement and the Licence granted herein at any time by destroying or removing all copies of the ENI Feed (including the ENI Content) from your Site, all hard drives, networks and other storage media.

C.2 ENI may restrict, suspend or terminate the ENI Feed, this Agreement, the Licence granted herein or your access to the ENI Feed at any time without liability. You agree to destroy all copies of the ENI Feed (including the ENI Content) upon receiving notice of termination from ENI.

D. Excluded Web sites

ENI's RSS feeds and any ENI content contained in the ENI RSS feeds may only be displayed on Web sites that do not fall into any one or more of the categories listed below. A site will be deemed to fall within one of the following categories where there is a material and prominent section of the Site that falls within such category.

1. Sites that incite hatred whether based on race, religion, gender, sexuality or otherwise, or promote encourage or facilitate anti-social behaviour
2. Sites that promote, encourage or facilitate violence
3. Sites that discriminate against any specific social group or otherwise exploit vulnerable sections of society
5. Sites that promote, facilitate or encourage illegal activity
6. Sites which are misleading, pornographic, defamatory, or that contain illegal, or otherwise actionable content under Swiss law

E. Accreditation Guidelines

Any ENI RSS feed or ENI content on your site must incorporate an attribution (credit) to ENI in one of the following forms:

"From ENI /www.eni.ch/" (delete as applicable), or, "This content / article is from ENI / the ENI Web site / www.eni.ch" (delete as applicable).

If you are displaying an ENI RSS feed in a context where a functional link back to the article on the ENI's Web site is not possible then you must use the following attribution (credit)
"From www.eni.ch" or "From www.eni.ch/news" or "From www.eni.ch/featured".
