Pros: Seem to me not good.
Cons: Final!!! when I am tried to download from any websites that I want download them and I found out download is very slow because of this Software!!! I hate it but I was thought it was good.

Pros: Constant protection, constant updates, even works with search engines to make sure websites and links are safe. Great Protection for free, slightly better for $35.
Cons: Option to install AVG toolbar is lame. Toolbar is not needed.
Summary: CNet says this is a free-to-try 30-day trial, it is not! The free edition offers terriffic protection forever! I've gone from Norton, to McAffee, to AVG Free, and AVG Free is the best. I've never had any problems with it. I've never had any probl... read more

"great protection, but free edition is better"
Pros: amazing detection of viruses, spyware and the update manager is excellent
Cons: rootkit protection is rubbish

"Difficult installation, moderate protection"
Pros: For nothing it gives some protection if you can get it to install. I was traveling and realized the laptop had no virus protection so it was adequate for me to read emails on the road.
Cons: Installation is hard, it does not seem like a long term anti virus solution. My friends that are using it seem to have conatant virus problems. Mcafee is a better long term choice as it updates automatically.
Summary: Could quick solution, but not a long term solution. read more
