Preparations for Saturday's trip to Walsall continued at Woughton today, with the mood in the camp predictably buoyant after four successive league wins.

But for one man in particular, the weight of personal expectation looks to have been lifted just in time, as he gets ready for his first visit to the ground he once called home.

Given his huge all-round contribution to the team, few people would have been pointing the finger at Mark Wright before he finally registered his first goal of the season at Hartlepool on Saturday.

But after finishing last season as the Club's leading scorer with 15 goals, the former Walsall winger was a relieved man to finally get off the mark at Victoria Park.

Having spent seven years with the Walsall after coming up through the youth ranks, Wrighty will be particularly keen to do well at the Banks Stadium this weekend, as the Dons look to make it five on the bounce.

And with Sam Baldock making a return to training following a hamstring injury, boss Roberto Di Matteo suddenly has some serious attacking weaponry to gun down Walsall.

Baldock missed the trip to Hartlepool but took a full part in Thursday's training session and could be in with a shout of being involved at the Bescot Stadium.

Youngster Daniel Powell continues to be involved with the first team following his goalscoring debut last week while 16-year-old Adam Chicksen was also part of Thursday's setup.

There were still several absentees however, as Danny Swailes (Achilles), Florian Sturm (groin), Jude Stirling and Carl Regan (both knee) continued to recover from injury.

All four will miss Saturday's game and more than likely miss Tuesday's visit of Hereford to stadiummk.

Discounted away tickets for Saturday's trip to Walsall will be on sale from the MK Dons Box Office until 5.00pm on Friday 21 November.
