Scooby Doo! Phantom of the Knight

CASTLE

  • To enter castle, click on each flag until it matches the corresponding flag on the castle.
  • After the drawbridge lowers, go into the castle.
  • You have to give a Scooby snack to Scooby-Doo to get him to enter the spooky castle. (Click on van to get your inventory to open. Click on it again to get it to close).

TOWN

  • You are now in the "town". Look around all you can. Go inside doors and click on everything.
  • Go into door in the back. (It's the Throne Room).

THRONE ROOM

  • Talk to Jane McHaggis.
  • Go into door on far right. See pile of junk/armor. (This is the Knight's Room).

KNIGHT'S ROOM

  • Lift up armor to uncover Sir Lacks-a-Lot.
  • Click on Sir Lacks-a-Lot to find out he needs his shield. (He gives you your first clue).
  • Return to Throne Room.
  • Return to Room of Doors.
  • Enter Armory (second door from the left not counting the stairs).

ARMORY

  • Pick up feather duster from floor.
  • Return to Throne Room.

THRONE ROOM

  • Give feather duster to Jane McHaggis. Return to Room of Doors.

ROOM OF DOORS

  • Click on Chester the Jester. Now you can enter Dining Room (first door on the left).
  • Balance dishes on waitress's trays.
  • Click on food tray with silver dome. (After eating some, the remaining sandwich half goes into your inventory).
  • Click on mug of root beer to play Knights of the Snack Table game. It earns you Scooby snacks you will need. You can play as many times as you like or quit whenever you want. Use the mouse to position Shaggy at the top, middle, or bottom ends of the 3 tables. To serve a mug of root beer, click once. To catch an empty mug, just stand there, but don't click.
  • Enter Royal Gallery (the right hand door).

ROYAL GALLERY

  • Get red ball on floor and give it to Chester the Jester.
  • Listen to Chester over and over until you have memorized the order of the 4 items. (They change with each new game but are: a lion, a deer, a bush, and a dragon). You will need this later.
  • Return to Dining Room.
  • Go to Kitchen. (It's the left-hand door).

KITCHEN

  • Talk to Ewen McHaggis (the cook). He gives you a quiz, but even if you get the answers wrong he lets you keep trying until you get it right.
  • Enter pantry (the door in the back).

PANTRY

  • Take screwdriver off the crates in the back.
  • Pick up shield.
  • Use screwdriver on the door until it opens, and you can leave.
  • Return to Kitchen.

KITCHEN

  • Look at puddle of grease on the floor.
  • Return to Throne Room (through the Dining Room and through the Room of Doors).
  • Enter knight's room.

KNIGHT'S ROOM

  • Give shield to Sir Lacks-a-Lot. (He gives you a hand mirror).
  • Return to Dining room.
  • Re-enter Royal Gallery.

ROYAL GALLERY

  • Use hand mirror on big wall mirror.
  • Give snacks to Scooby-Doo to get him to enter the big mirror.
  • Click on all 4 camera buttons around top of mirror/door.
  • Watch video of skulls being turned until you have memorized the pattern. (For example: If you see that you should turn the first skull 2 times, then turn the second skull one time, and finally turn the last skull 3 times, You might write it down as 2,1,0,3. This would mean you should turn the 4 skulls in the following way: 2turns, 1turn, no turns, and 3 turns). You will need this later.
  • Go to Room of Doors, and on out to town.

TOWN

  • Enter round hut. (This is the Gardener's House).

GARDENER'S HOUSE

  • Click on shield then click on each of the 4 symbols in the order that Chester the Jester told you. This opens the bars on the door for you.
  • Go into the Hedge Maze.

HEDGE MAZE

  • Just follow the white path. The first moves are left, then up to the fountain.
  • At the fountain get the hedge trimmers off of the bench.
  • Click on the water in the fountain to see 4 tokens and a piranha fish.
  • Feed the half-sandwich to the fish and you automatically get the tokens.
  • Click on the balcony sign to go onward and finish up the maze until you are under a balcony.

BALCONY

  • Notice the vines on the castle wall that need trimming. However the hedge trimmers are too dull and need sharpening.
  • Go to Employee Entrance.

EMPLOYEE ENTRANCE

  • Pick up blue ball and give it to Chester the Jester.
  • Listen to his song about a "silver man" (a clue for later).
  • Enter square opening to find yourself dropping down a chute and back into the dining room.
  • Return to Town and enter Souvenir Shop.

SOUVENIR SHOP

  • Use tokens from inventory on bottles.
  • Go to kitchen. Use bottle on grease puddle.
  • Go to Armory.

ARMORY

  • Use bottle of grease on silver man at right.
  • Go down into secret passageway.

SECRET PASSAGEWAY

  • Feed Scooby snacks to Scooby-Doo.
  • Enter storage room (the door at the top).

STORAGE ROOM

  • Click on rope.
  • Return to the Throne Room.
  • Enter left hand door to the arena.

ARENA

  • Use hedge trimmers on the grinding wheel to sharpen them.
  • Re-enter Town and Gardener's House, and Hedge Maze to the castle wall with vines.

BALCONY

  • Use hedge trimmers on the vines.
  • Climb UP the vines.
  • On balcony, there are two arrows to the right Click on the upper one.

PRINCESS'S BEDROOM

  • Look around Princess's bedroom.
  • Take book off of the chest of drawers.
  • Go out on the verandah.

VERANDAH

  • Look at well, at least 3 times. (You get a rope idea).
  • Return to balcony.

BALCONY

  • Click on lower arrow to enter Creepy Library.

CREEPY LIBRARY

  • Look at bookshelves.
  • Notice missing book.
  • Use book from inventory on shelf.
  • Turn the skulls by clicking on them the way you noted earlier.
  • Talk to wizard Anziani.
  • Play his copy-cat game. It takes a lot of practice to get it right, because it has to be on the right beats of the music. Try tapping your foot to get the rhythm. However you don't have to get any of them right, as the Wizard will still give you a pile of scrolls.
  • Click on scrolls on the wizard's bed. You'll get a maze map, with the well marked on it.
  • Return to balcony.

BALCONY

  • Go over railing and down to maze.

MAZE

  • Enter maze, and get automatic map of maze.
  • Click on well to go there automatically.

WELL

  • Use rope on well.
  • Enter well.
  • Pick up gem.
  • Go back UP.
  • Pick up yellow ball on ground near Well.
  • Give yellow ball to Chester the Jester.
  • Go LEFT to map.
  • Click on lower right (balcony).
  • Go to Employees Entrance/Chute/Dining Room.
  • Return to Throne Room.

THRONE ROOM

  • Use gem on throne. (It revolves and disappears).
  • Click on newly revealed door (behind where the throne used to be).
  • Give snacks to Scooby-Doo.
  • Walk to the back.
  • Watch the ending. (This includes a chance to guess who did it). The villain is different each time you play it, and even if you guess wrong, they still tell you who the villain is and how and why they did it
  • CONGRATULATIONS! you finished.
