Gilbert Goodmate and the Mushroom of Phungoria This game gives a lot of clues by examining objects, so it's good to examine all objects - but note that some objects are not that easy to see at first glance - so keep checking with the cursar to find them. Go back out and use the crank on the hoist. Pull the lever and go down. Cross the bridge and the princess speaks to you. Town Talk to her and get the card with a picture of the king on it. Talk to Saul, then talk to Barry, then talk to the boy. Enter the tower and talk to Pete - need to get him to show you his sword, then get him to fire the gun to be able to get the sword. Use the sword on the loose stone. Go down and get the false nose from the broken machine (and also get the bottle of soap). Go west to the jail and talk to Arver. Talk to him again to get the empty corn flakes box. Get the poetry book from the steps. Then talk to the 'wagon door' (Dr Fraud). Go back to the main square and 'down' to the docks. Talk to the fisherman. Talk to the 'mysterious' man. Once you discover he's a spy you can end the converstaion to get the sleeping powder. Go into the tavern and talk to the bartender, then the Viking at the table. Go south to the main square and get the boot polish from Saul's counter. Use the polish on the sock and give it to Saul to get the bunny shoes. Go back to the docks, examine the 'shark' teeth above the fisherman and then talk to him (he gets tired). Into the bar and give the bunny shoes to the viking at the table. Out and wait for fisherman to fall asleep then get his knife. Go south to the main square and north-west to the 'top' street. Talk to Sergio (telephone operator). Talk to Vandersteen (smith) then get the glove. Use the knife on the telephone cable to get some wire. Into Madam Zyz's. Look at the duster, palm poster and the crystal ball. Talk to Madam Zyz and then look at the teapot, and talk to the genie. Out and go east to the side street. Talk to Louise and get the bras (have conversation with the princess). Open inventory and 'tie' bras together to make a bunjee cord. Talk to Sam. Get the aluminium bar from outside Eltons. Use the buzzer system three times, pressing all buttons, then use it the fourth time to 'knock on door' and enter. Get the blueprints beside the door, then from the inventory, turn them over to see the pig diagram. Get the feather pen from the floor and the inkwell from the table. Examine the 'statue' (robot), examine the 'mysterious invention' by the crates (time-machine). Look at the 'invention' by the door (vacuum cleaner) and pick it up. Talk to Elton (three times to get him talking). Out and go north and north (to map) to house - use lever and up. House Into back garden and use the vacuum cleaner on the bees (get honey and wax) Leave (return bees). Use hoist down and over bridge and use map to the farm. Farm Use the sword on the sheep to get the wool. Show the pig picture to the pig. Get the straw from the scarecrow and put it in the pillow, then get the corn cob. Talk to the farmer, then look at the trophies, talk to the pig, then show it the pig picture again. Get the bag of wheat and the red robe. In the inventory look at the corn flake box then use the knife on the packet of corn flakes to make a crown. Attach the wire to the crown. Use the crown, the nose, the stuffed pillow on the robe ...do the King thing! and end up in your house. Go to the docks. Docks Into the tavern and talk to the shipowner. Use the beeswax on the left hand viking's key ring. Get the lipstick covered napkin from the floor. Into the inventory and use the pen on the ink, then on the napkin. Get a napkin with a ship logo from the table. Out and use the glove on the tar (not the barrel). In the inventory use the tarred glove with the bag of wheat, then use the bag on the wool (makes dog!). Go south to the main square, up the tower and put the 'ship' napkin on the gunsights (Saul comes). Down and get the belt from the sewing machine. Go east and exchange the fake dog for the real dog. Go north and give 'key imprint' to Vandersteen (talk) then give him the dog and get the key. Go north to the bridge. Bridge Talk to the guard then give hime the 'love letter'. Raise the gate and go over and left and under the bridge and get the cannonballs from the river and use them with the aluminium bar to make the fake weight bar. Open the door and enter. Talk to Lipton (till you hear the requirements of a filter and sugar for the un-named tea). Out, over the bridge and go to Larry's Cave Shop. Larry's Cave Shop Examine the crystal balls, then talk to Larry. Exit and go to the town (lower part on map) Town Talk to the wagon door. Then talk again (about fake weights) ...get medicine and starch (ignore the juice press). Give the medicine to Arver and he gives you his filter. Go south and east and into Elton's shop. Try and use the time machine then talk to Elton to get a demonstration. Use the belt on the robot (Elton goes). Get the broken spring from the floor. exit and go north and give the broken spring to Vandersteen. Go north to the bridge Bridge Go across and down and into Lipton's house. Give the filter the Lipton. Into the inventory and mix the honey with the sleeping powder and give it to Lipton ...get the VIP ticket .. phone Vandersteen - use any password. Out and go to the town (upper part). Town Get Vandersteen's hammer, and go north and to your house. House Use the hammer on the cuckoo clock by the bed and get the spring. Out and use the hoist down and go to the secret Viking hideout. Secret Viking Hideout Talk to Eric, then give him the bungee cord. Use the key and get the gold and the slave market pass ...and exit. Go to Larry's Cave Shop. Larry's Cave Shop Pick up a crystal ball ...get given a crowbar. Out and go to town (top part) Town ...replace Vandersteen's hammer. Go into the Sheriff's house. Pick up the book on the table. Use the crowbar on the chest ..get diary and read it. Pick up the blank piece of paper from the floor. Out and into Madam Zyz and talk to the genie and get the 'glow pal'. Exit and go east and south. Give the blank paper (and pen) to Barry and get the generosity potion. Go east and into Eltons. Use the spring on the time machine then use the controls and go to the future ...at Madam Zyz. Talk to her, then use the generosity potion on the perfume spray and get the crystal ball and the feather duster ...back to the present. Exit Eltons and go south and south east to the docks. Into the tavern and give the crystal ball to Davenport ...out to Island. Island Talk to old man (Elton) twice. go right and talk to the pirate captain. Get the apron and search it for a hammer and some nails. Get the sugar and put the starch in its place. Talk to the chef and get some thick jelly. Get the pedals and the shovel. Use the shovel on the sand by the iron bars (get chest). Use the crowbar on the chest (three times). Open the last chest and get a potato and a note. Read note. Go back to Elton and use the 'glow pal' on the white rock on the sand. Go back to the cave and use the 'glow pal' and solve one of those really boring slide puzzles (mushroom shape) - go and recharge when the 'glow pal' light dies. To second cave. get the 5 and 3 litre buckets and the bamboo stick. Use the thick jelly on the broken 5 litre bucket. Fill the 5 litre bucket and use it on the 3 litre bucket then empty the 3 litre bucket. Fill the 3 litre bucket from the 5 litre bucket. Fill the 5 litre bucket again and pour it into the 3 litre bucket, then put the 5 litre bucket on the scales and cross the bridge. As soon as you get a chance, grab at the magic book, then open the inventory and get the feather pen (during the breaks in the conversation) and use it on the sheriff ..read book and sheriff goes. Use the glove to get the mushroom. Go back to Elton and use the bamboo pole to get the 'flotation device'. into the inventory and untie the 'flotation device' - get rope, broken rudder. Use the hammer and nails on the broken rudder. Now use the pedals, the rope and the rudder on the raft, then use the raft ...get picked up by viking slavers and into the slave pit talking to Arver. Viking village Talk to the Indian/Native American Chief then go up the ladder and talk to the 'feminine viking - Helga'. pick up the helmet and get the horn from the ground, then get the fire-crackers. Open the right hand barrel and get a rotton salmon. Go right and talk to the executioner (don't try the torture). Go north and west and look at the protesting chickens. Go right and talk to the ticket viking. Back and go west by Helga to the viking ship. Get and read the advert, then read the board and the sign. Talk to the man then use the horn on the paint ..to backstage of the slave market. Get the small hand mirror and use it on the counter. Get the broken glass and use it on the potato in your inventory to make a 'stamp'. Use the stamp on the horn of paint (make rash on yourself). Use the toothbrush in the inkwell (brush teeth) .....onto the stage ..open inventory and combine the pillow with the apron .....onto the stage (get certificate) ...to slave pit. In the inventory use the broken glass on the certificate and use the remaining piece on the slave pass. Talk to the Native American chief and give him the bottle of soap and get his head-dress and some matches. Up and north by the executioner to the ticket viking and give him the doctored pass and enter the hall. Attempt to pick up fly-paper. Show rotton salmon to viking chef and swap for the fly-paper. Use the sleeping powder on the mug of mead. 'Spill' the marianade when the viking chef is looking at the fire then grab the frame holding the pig and exit. Go east and west to Helga and use the fly-paper on helga. Use the 'advert' on Helga's other leg. Go south west and get the next advert - back and use on Helga and get her face cream. Go to the executioner and use the cream (from inventory) and talk to him about the torture ...get feather. Go north and west to the boxing ring. Use the fire crackers on the right hand chicken and get the feathers. In the inventory use the feathers, big feather, feather pen, head-dress and feather duster on the wooden frame, then use the floss on the wings ... Abandoned House When the talking stops use the corn cob on the chimney ....end sequence.
