Mark Vruno
Mark Vruno brings more than 20 years of print industry experience to GAM, to which he contributed as a free-lance writer before joining the staff on a full-time basis in late 2004. In that time, Vruno has worked closely with editor-in-chief Bill Esler to focus the magazine’s content on technology applications. He writes the popular “How’d They Print That?” column and coordinates feature coverage and editorial production. Throughout his versatile career, Vruno has worked directly for printing companies, as well as on behalf of printers (including Banta) and suppliers (such as Fujifilm) in marketing/public relations capacities. His tenure includes nine years with RR Donnelley on the corporate side and five years of selling for a $25-million sheetfed printer. Having been on all sides of the proverbial fence—corporate communications, PR and sales—he lends a comprehensive perspective to his reporting. User Stats

On the front of their insert it says 'Next Day for Trade,' which would indicate they are a 'trade printer.' I thought Graphic Arts Monthly was a magazine for the printing trade—[so] this j...Read More Industries: New Products, Press
