40
TV Guide Ken Fox
This is a one-idea film, and what would have made a great three-minute music video makes for a tedious 75-minute feature.

New York Post V.A. Musetto
It has a funky rockabilly soundtrack, including a little ditty called "Mopping the Floor With My Baby's Head," and occasionally interesting visuals. Other than that, Texas Night Train has nothing to recommend it.

The New York Times Lawrence Van Gelder
Amounts to about 10 minutes of storytelling in 75 minutes of repetitive film, ill-defined characters, wretched acting and droning voice-over maunderings.
