Now in his sixth season as a member of the Eagles player personnel department, Ahmad Russell is in his fourth season as a college scout working primarily in the Northeast region. Russell, who interned with the player personnel department in 2004, served as a college scouting assistant in 2005.
The 29-year-old Russell earned a bachelor's degree in Asian studies from Colgate, where he was a four-year letterman as a linebacker and defensive end. From 2001-03, he lived in Japan teaching English to middle school students as a member of the J.E.T program. Russell went on to earn his masters degree in sports management from the University of Massachusetts in 2004.
Born 6/2/79 in New Brunswick, NJ, Russell graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood, NJ. He is single and currently resides in Philadelphia.
