Jon Sandusky is in his ninth season with the Eagles and his second as the team's director of pro personnel. He was promoted to his current role on June 10, 2008. He spent the previous six seasons as a pro scout after joining the Eagles as an intern in the Eagles personnel department in 2001.

In his role, the 31-year-old Sandusky will manage the pro scouting department in evaluating players among the professional ranks, advance scouting of upcoming opponents, and preparing the club for acquisitions through free agency and the waiver wire. In addition, he also assists in the cross check of college players prior to the draft.
  
A native of State College, PA (born 2/21/77), Sandusky was a safety and special teamer for Penn State from 1996-99. He was a member of the Big Ten's all-academic squad from 1998-99 and received the Frank Patrick Commitment Award in 1998 for his dedication, academics, and conditioning.
 
Sandusky graduated with a degree in exercise science from Penn State and served as an undergraduate assistant coach for the Nittany Lions in 2000. He helped tutor linebackers and defensive backs, while assisting with the special teams and the organization of the scout teams.
 
The son of legendary Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, Jon is one of 6 children. He and his wife, Kia, reside in Valley Forge, PA, with their newborn son, Brady (11/14/08).
