Gustus is in his fourth season as a member of the Eagles scouting staff. Gustus, who is responsible for scouting college players in Southeast region, joined the Eagles after a two-year stint with the New England Patriots, highlighted by a Super Bowl 38 win over Carolina.

The 28-year-old Gustus helped the Patriots in many ways in 2003 primarily as a college scouting assistant. He also assisted with the offensive quality control. He joined the Patriots in 2002 and helped with special teams quality control in addition to his duties as college scouting assistant.

Gustus was a two-year starter at quarterback (2000-01) at the University of Richmond, where he earned his degree in health and sports science. He was a high school teammate of Eagles RB Brian Westbrook at DeMatha HS in Hyattsville, MD.

A native of Oxon Hill, MD, Gustus was born on 1/28/79. He is single and currently resides in Clinton, MD.
