Ryan Grigson

Director of College Scouting

Ryan Grigson is in his sixth season as a member of the Eagles player personnel staff and his fourth as the director of college scouting. The 36-year-old Grigson had previously served as the Western regional scout. He joined the Eagles after a five-year stint as a college scout with the St. Louis Rams where he was a part of two Super Bowl and four playoff teams.
 
With the Rams, Grigson began as a national combine scout before being promoted to an area scout, working in the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast regions during his tenure.
 
Grigson was a sixth round draft choice of the Cincinnati Bengals in 1995. He spent that season as an offensive lineman with Detroit and was a member of the Lions training camp in 1996. He also played with Toronto of the Canadian Football League in 1997 before retiring due to a career-ending back injury.
 
Following his playing career, Grigson became a pro scout with Saskatchewan of the CFL and an assistant coach at McPherson College in Kansas in 1998. He then joined the Buffalo Destroyers of the Arena Football League in 1999 as a player personnel coordinator and assistant coach.
 
A native of Highland, IN (born 2/23/72) and graduate of Purdue University, Grigson played tight end and offensive tackle for the Boilermakers from 1991-94. As a senior, he served as the team captain.
 
He and his wife, Cynthia, have two daughters, Sophia and Ava, and three sons, Noah, Luke, and Levi, and reside in Portsmouth, RI.
