The Redskins' playoff goals now have to be adjusted to just finishing the season with a winning record. They take a 7-7 record into next week's contest against Philadelphia. The Bengals pick up just their second win of the season to improve to 2-11-1. They did it by taking an early lead and then holding off a comeback attempt by Washington with a goal line stand. With goal-to-go in the third quarter, the Redskins gave the ball consecutive times to Sellers, who wound up fumbling the ball away. Cleveland is next up for Cincinnati.

Shaun Suisham sets up for the onside kick, but it's a poor attempt. It travels way too far and the Bengals let it travel out of bounds. That seals this game in Cincinnati's favor. It took a big early lead off of an early turnover converted into seven points combined with a 79-yard catch-and-run by Benson. It then ended the game with a long drive that extinguished any hopes of a comeback for Washington. The final score is Bengals 20, Redskins 13.

Campbell is flushed out of the pocket on second down and just barely gets rid of the ball before suffering a hit. The ball falls incomplete. Then on third down, Campbell throws short to Portis trying to set up a screen. Washington has to settle for a field goal, made all the more difficult because of a delay of game for a loss of five yards. The 36-yard attempt is good to make it a one-possession game once again.
