International days and campaigns

UNODC launches campaigns to raise awareness of drugs and crime problems.

On 26 June every year, UNODC marks the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. In 2007, the campaign theme is "Do drugs control your life? "

Perhaps you are a teacher looking for materials to start a classroom discussion or a pupil who wants to know what drugs do to you. You want to know what drugs look like? How do you stand up to peer pressure? Experts will tell you simple ways to stay away from drugs.

Perhaps you are a parent worried by your teen's behaviour or a youth club leader anxious to get kids off the streets. Logos, factsheets, as well as radio and video spots in many languages.

On 9 December every year, UNODC commemorates the International Anti-Corruption Day. The current theme is "You can stop corruption".

You may be a social activist trying to lobby for "cleaner" leadership and more transparent government. Or perhaps you are one of the many citizens tired of paying bribes for basic services such as education and health care.

We believe that people can do something about it. Brochures, posters, logos and radio spots to see how you can say "no" to corruption.
