Medical plans
Employees' spouses, children, domestic partners, and domestic partners' children are all eligible for coverage under CNET's plan; medical plan availability varies by location:

Dental plan

Vision plan

  • Vision Service Plan (VSP):
  • 100 percent coverage for annual eye exams and glasses/contact lenses with co-pay when accessed through network providers.

Stock options/Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
CBS Interactive stock plans provide employees the opportunity to participate in the long-term success of the company. The ESPP allows employees to purchase stock at a 15 percent discount at specified times during the year.

401(k) program with employer match
CBS Interactive supports employees' efforts to plan for their futures by matching 50 percent of the first 4 percent of pay contributed into the program each payroll period.

Vacation
CBS Interactive offers an innovative vacation plan that provides additional vacation days to employees who use their hard-earned time off. The plan works like this:

  • Years 1-4: 2 weeks vacation;
  • After year 4: 3 weeks vacation;
  • All employees with at least six months of service and with a vacation balance of 40 hours or less on December 31 receive a bonus week of vacation in the following calendar year;
  • Employees with 5 years of continuous service will receive one day (8 hours) of vacation pay, and longer tenured employees will receive one additional day of vacation for each year of continuous service in excess of five up to a maximum of five extra days of vacation.

Holidays and sick days
CBS Interactive observes 15 paid holidays per year. The company also provides 10 paid days off per year for illness or injury (5 days for employees hired after July 1).

Flexible spending accounts
CBS Interactive offers money-saving flexible spending accounts that allow employees to set aside pretax dollars for their annual child-care and health-care expenses.

Life insurance
CBS Interactive provides company-paid basic life and accident insurance at 1X annual base salary, up to $250,000 per year, plus $250,000 business-travel-accident life insurance coverage. Employees may purchase additional life insurance for themselves and their families at favorable rates.
