Staff

These people are the magic behind the music, responsible for the day-in, day-out task of keeping the home fires burning in the Webmonkey belly:

Michael Calore
Webmonkey Editor

Michael was part of Webmonkey's editorial staff from 2000 until 2006. He rejoined the site as its editor in 2008, orchestrating its relaunch as a publicly-editable wiki. In the interim, Michael managed Wired.com's daily software coverage, writing news, reviews and editorials. He is also the editor of the How-To Wiki, Wired's community site dedicated to DIY culture. Prior to his Webmonkey days, Michael worked as a graphic designer, technical writer, webmaster and bamboo farmer. He is a musician who performs regularly around San Francisco. Just like your sister, your neighbor and everyone else you know, Michael is also a DJ. He keeps a personal blog at snackfight.com.

Scott Loganbill
Associate Editor

Scott joined the Webmonkey editorial team for its launch in 2008. Before that, he worked as a technical writer, wiki-editor and webmaster at Google. Scott's primary job is to care for the monkeys in this monkey house, although he'd prefer not to use the shovel if possible. Beyond zoo-keeping, he writes and edits articles for Webmonkey, the monkey_bites blog and the How-To Wiki. In his off time, Scott plays bass in a San Francisco band and prefers his food picante.

Scott Gilbertson
Contributor

Scott is one of the core contributors to the monkey_bites blog. He also writes articles and tutorials for Webmonkey, the How-To Wiki and Wired.com. Before his Webmonkey days, Scott managed a restaurant kitchen, edited a poetry magazine, swept sawdust, slung coffee and did some things he regrets. Recently, he came close to abandoning programming altogether, but then he discovered Python, at which point everything became OK again. When not writing for Webmonkey, Scott can be found dragging his EeePC around the far corners of the earth. He publishes his personal writings on luxagraf.net.

Paul Adams
Contributor

Paul is Webmonkey's resident acronympho, covering the likes of PHP, DNS, Ajax and SOAP with startling aplomb and fiendish regularity. Paul lives in New York, where he writes blog posts on monkey_bites by day and poplocks by night. He also just got his driver's license, so be careful crossing the street, New Yorkers!
