Week 13 Power Rankings

What a great week in the NFL! Now the plot thickens as playoff spots are still up for grabs.
  1. +1 For Home Wins
  2. +2 For Road Wins
  3. -2 For Home Losses
  4. -1 For Road Losses
  5. In the event of a tie, points differential(Points Scored - Points Allowed)

Without going into much more detail, Poutlipper's Week 13 Power Rankings:

   1. East coast team travels to the west coast; Brandon Jacobs isn't playing; Plaxico gets injured in the first quarter... result? The best team in the NFL as they soundly defeat the Arizona Cardinals. (13 PCS Points)

  2. The sky is falling, the sky is falling..... The Titans are still 10-1 and on their way to securing home field advantage throughout the playoffs.. (13 PCS Points)

 3. Down 17-0 on the road to the Lions, Garcia led this Bucs team to an impressive come from behind victory. Tampa is beginning to get some attention. (8 PCS Points)

4. Despite a rough stretch of games, the Steelers seem to be back in control as they sit atop their division at 8-3.(7 PCS Points)

5. Make that 3 bad games in a row. The schedule is not getting any easier from here on out either. (7 PCS Points)

6. The Cowboys are 6-2 this season with Tony Romo who is among the league leaders in touchdown passes and QB rating. This could be the MVP of the league. (7 PCS Points)

7. Impressive win on the road against the Jaguars. Every win counts in this close division race. (6 PCS Points)

8. Despite an 8-3 record, this could be the best team in the AFC. This team is firing on all cylinders. (5 PCS Points

 9. The Ravens made a statement Sunday by perhaps putting in the last nail in the coffin for Andy Reid and Donovan Mcnabb. (5 PCS Poin

10. Difficult loss at home against the Giants. Makes you wonder if they're really that good, or just a result of the NFC West. (5 PCS Points

11. Impressive win against the division leading Carolina Panthers. This team made a huge statement on Sunday. (5 PCS Points)

12. Four wins and counting. If the playoffs started today, the Colts are in it. (5 PCS Points)

13. The Patriots and Matt Cassel might just make me a believer out of them. Two very impressive games in a row. Nice to see Randy Moss back in the mix. (4 PCS Points)

14. Great way to bounce back against the Rams after a difficult loss to the Packers the week before. This division race is getting tight and the Bears don't appear to be giving up just yet. (4 PCS Points)

 15. Winning on the road is never easy, so it's always a good feeling when you come away with one regardless the team. They're still in the mix and Clinton Portis looks better injured than healthy. (4 PCS Points)

16. Anyone get the feeling that the Bills went to Arrowhead and played with a chip on their shoulder? This was the most points they've put up in a game since 1993. (2 PCS Points)

 17. The hits just keep coming. This team in imploding as we speak. I ca't wait until Thanksgiving. (2 PCS Points)

18. Huge road win for the Saints against Kansas City. Despite the first 10 games in the season, the Saints are 5-5 in last place of the NFC South. With Brees at the helm, this team is very capable of making a run for the playoffs. (1 PCS Points)

19. Losing against a team like the Raiders is bad.... losing at home is worse. Getting absolutely destroyed in every aspect of the game is just down right embarassing. (1 PCS Points)

 20. This team is an enormous improvement over last year's Dolphins. But, they're not a playoff team just yet. (0 PCS Points)
 Teams 21-32

Wierd how the Jets are 8th but are the best team in the AFC?? Titans are still the best 10-0 wasnt a fluke its just hard to get motivated each week when ur being chased by every team in the league (ie. Patriots last year)

I said Jets "could" be the best in the AFC, if you look at the points, the Titans still have 13 points, same as Giants, Giants just have a higher point differential.
