Well folks it looks like Dungeon Keeper is destined to become an MMOG. China-based NetDragon Websoft announced it has acquired the Dungeon Keeper license and, yes, the reason is because they're looking to create Dungeon Keeper Online (an MMOG). As GI reports, the game will be operated by NetDragon throughout China (Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau), but may also be made for other regions.

"May?"

Whatever.

Oh and one more thing. Guess which publisher is behind this... Well, it's Electronic Arts, who else? They're latest idea to make an impact on the MMO market and to possibly counter the enormous success of WoW.

"We are delighted to enter into an agreement with EA in the development of our first 3D MMOG," he said. "Our partnership with this internationally renowned game developer is proof of our capabilities in game operations and development as well as a reflection of our market reputation.

"Capitalising our strength to create a strong gaming experience, powerful operating platform and unmatched expertise within China's online game market, we are confident that Dungeon Keeper Online will not only become successful in the Greater China region but also achieve remarkable results overseas."

2lions brings you his full impressions of Blizzard's expansion pack. After four long years of its existence, World of Warcraft -- the insanely popular MMORPG -- continues to dominate sales charts. Naturally, we were interested to see if Blizzard delivered yet another rewarding add-on.

To find out if their efforts were crowned with success, check out our review of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

There's a number of fixes and improvements still being prepared for the PC edition of Ubisoft's first-person shooter, Far Cry 2. Further details on the upcoming patch are unknown at this time. However, we do know that this particular update is scheduled for release some time between December 8-11, as confirmed by German Ubisoft community rep Marc.

Yep, the game is definitely unpolished and from what I hear there's a number of irritating bugs still present in both PC and console versions.

Surely you remember last year's excellent role-playing game, The Witcher. No? Well, you should. If you haven't played this game, we recommend you try the recently released The Witcher: Enhanced Edition.

Console gamers may now get a chance to play the game as well. Word has it that CD Projekt is already working on the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of the game and that they're calling it The Witcher: Rise of the Wolf.

We're not entirely sure what the official story is. At this point, we've received info that the console version features a new engine, new combat system, new animations (models and vegetation), dynamic lighting/shadows, achievements & trophies, sixaxxis support, more aggressive enemy behavior, etc.

That's all very well, but I was kind of hoping for an expansion pack for the PC version. Stupid me.

Incidentally, the official The Witcher web site is currently down.

Jesus H. Christ! Holiday shopping season started early this year. People are on the verge of becoming homicidal maniacs just to get their hands on something cheap. There are a few stores that had clothes on sale. Yesterday, I had to wrestle two mothers for a pair of cute, pink socks. Shut up! Thems not for me, it's for me ma... Me maaa!

I kid. They're actually for my lil baby girl.

To summarize, I'm never going shopping again during holiday season; unless, of course, I happen to be armed with a mother-seeking missile launcher (no, not the one between my legs).

With everyone's continued obsession with Black Friday stuff there's little news around. Hope y'all had a nice Thanksgiving and shit. Remember, spank that turkey good and proper before you carve it. It's a must.

Oh and you really ought to check out this TF 2 - Mass AI thing (minus the retarded music - me not like; otherwise, cool video).
