Small travellers, Big journeys
The migratory season is on its way, and soon lakes, water-bodies, parks and gardens and forests all over India, will be full of feathered visitors from abroad. They say birds migrate to find the best living conditions (food mainly) and northern Europe, central Asia and Siberia are not quite hospitable in winter... so down they fly to sunny India. But why do they go back then? They say the northern latitudes are paradises for birds in summer - perfect places to bring up their families!
