The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

Developer: Radical Entertainment; Publisher: Vivendi
Preview by (2 September 2005)

IN THE INCREDIBLE HULK: Ultimate Destruction, players can jump anywhere, climb anything and smash everything — even destroy entire buildings — as the Hulk.

Create your own Hulk-powered weapons from anything you can rip out of the environment, unlock new moves to battle huge enemies in epic boss fights and experience extended gameplay.

  • 30+ story missions
  • 40+ side missions
  • 150 chargeable Hulk moves
  • Eight chapters
  • Hulk-dwarfing enemies include Abomination and super-sized mech
  • Two main environments - City and Badlands - feature multiple times of day and varied weather conditions
Leading voice-over cast members include Ron Perlman (Hellboy) as Hulk rival Emil Blonsky and the Abomination. Bruce Banner will be voiced by Neal McDonough, who also voiced Bruce Banner in the late-90's cartoon series The Incredible Hulk. Richard Moll, who once voiced Abomination for the same TV series, will voice Devil Hulk, the embodiment of all that is evil within Banner's own mind. Moll is best known as the lovable bailiff Bull on '80s TV series Night Court.

The story was penned by Eisner Award-winning comic book writer Paul Jenkins (Hulk, Spider-Man). Original art was created by signature comic artist Bryan Hitch (The Ultimates).

Academy Award-winning sound effects designers, DaneTracks (The Matrix trilogy), helped create the sounds of devastation and annihilation. Ka-boom! The soundtrack was composed by Bill Brown (CSI: NY, Ali ).

TIHUD is looking to be one of the better comic to video game conversions yet.
